Job brief

We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

You will conduct full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, develop analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

• Measure performance of app and website and continuously circulate reports to the management

• App feature tracking, performance of features within the app and suggestions to improve experience and performance of the features

• Work closely with the technology team to implement tracking of all the app and website features

• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality

• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs

• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a data analyst

• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

• Must have strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), Google Analytics

• Good to have, knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
